Haiku of a New York Minute is a culmination of 83 poems and selected paintings by visual artist, Adrian Bermeo. In his inaugural self-publication, the observer from Queens introspectively collages into childhood memories, historical context, and intimate convictions about sociopolitical and economical landscapes attached to his hometown. Apprehensively, the visual artist taps our shoulder as a neighborhood witness by highlighting some of NYC’s social awareness, diverse ecosystems and the imperfect dynamics which make this metropolis one of the most unique voices in global subculture; woefully in jeopardy of becoming erased.
